Arty Parties | Hayley Stokes Art

I love people. I love art. And I especially love helping people to make art. My arty parties are a fun, relaxed way to get arty with friends, family or colleagues. As a freelance artist and community artist, I host some parties of my own in a local pub, the New Inn, in Enderby, for which tickets can be purchased at £30 per person. This price includes a light buffet. Please subscribe below for details of planned events. I am also happy to bring the party to you if you can identify a venue and a group of people who would like to paint their own canvas. Various themes available and parties can be customised according to your group's interests. Below are some of the possibilities and a gallery of some examples of outcomes that are achieved by party guests. Many of these are people who had never painted before and warned me that they would be a challenge for me because of their lack of talent. Everyone who has attended to date has enjoyed it and many have surprised themselves with their results.

Paint your own Llama

Party guests are given step by step instructions to paint a llamas head and neck using acrylic paint (templates are available to those who would prefer to use them) and then encouraged to personalise it in their own unique way.

Paint Your Own Pet

Party guests send a photo of the pet they wish to paint in advance and Hayley prepares a stencil and colour palette guide along with tips and tricks to help you achieve a pet portrait painted with love.

Paint an autumnal treescape

Party guests are given a selection of autumnal acrylic paints, along with photographs for inspiration. They can copy Hayley's design or create their own trees cape using Hayley's hints and tips for creating a sense of being among the trees.

Paint a Seascape

Party Guests are taken step by step through a method of painting a simple seascape that will satisfy any cravings to be by the seaside.

Paint a moonscape and silhouette

Party guests are shown how you create a moody moonscape and then given stencils to help paint a dramatic silhouette

Paint a floral canvas

Guests will be encouraged to select a colour palette of their choice and guided through a process of producing simple abstract shapes to represent flowers and produce their own bespoke colourful floral canvas to suit their own tastes.
