My animated film 'It’s About Feeling Loved'  juxtaposed the bleak truths of sheep-farming during the lambing season against the harsh reality of motherhood. The expression of some of the darker moments experienced by mothers is unsettling and challenges conventional views but at the same time the fleeting softer, tender moments highlight the bond that keeps most mothers fully committed to the mothering process despite its mundaneness and relentlessness at times.  I was awarded the Christopherson Prize from DMU for this film, which can be seen at https://vimeo.com/95787807. The' Christopherson Collection' awards are selected by Heads of Schools and associated colleagues as the most original and creative work produced by DMU students
